Established in September 2018, Gemdale (Yantai) STEAM Kindergarten is affiliated with Shenzhen Gemdale Education Co., Ltd. Planned and built according to provincial demonstration kindergarten standard of Shandong, Gemdale (Yantai) STEAM Kindergarten is offering 14 classes (which are divided into grade 1, 2 and 3 classes) and is rated as a Provincial Class II Kindergarten. With more than 336 students and 26 teachers, a professional faculty team, a scientific curriculum system, a superior environment and first-class hardware configuration, the kindergarten is a paradise for personalized growth of children.
Located in Gemdale Green World Community, Laishan District, Yantai, Gemdale (Yantai) STEAM Kindergarten covering a total area of 6,300m2, is equipped with an outdoor playground of 3,600m2, providing a place for children to play sports and grow up in a healthy way. There are 14 classrooms for children’s activities, and 5 special function rooms, e.g., cooking room, STEAM classroom, picture book reading room, creative art room, multi-functional music classroom, etc. Outside the kindergarten, there are modern facilities and equipment such as standard running track, play pool, sand pond, planting area, self-directed play area and large toy area, creating a scenario space for exploration and growth.
We have a professional and excellent faculty team, with a total of 24 teachers, in addition to full-time STEAM teachers and Chinese English teachers. All teachers have a professional background in preschool education and rich experience, and hold Early Childhood Teacher Certificate and Certificate of Putonghua Proficiency Test. With the love and respect for each unique life, they give children the most professional, considerate care and motherly love.
Our curriculum system consists of a local provincial thematic exploration curriculum, STEAM curriculum, traditional culture education curriculum including a series of rich and colorful courses such as themed baking, traditional Chinese studies, Chinese tea art, science and experiments, solar terms and festivals, which can support the comprehensive quality growth of children aged 2-6 years old in all aspects.
Meals oriented are provided in a way to disseminate knowledge of rational nutrition and lead healthy and correct eating behaviors and habits. Nutritious meals with inviting color, aroma, taste and presentation perfectly matches the seasons according to the characteristics of the twenty-four solar terms, giving full consideration to the texture of meals and the matching of coarse and fine grains.
Fresh food is directly supplied by Metro (Yantai), and the fish and meat are de-spined and de-boned to ensure safe consumption by children. Fresh milk is supplied directly by manufactures, and fresh fruits are in season. Bread and pastries are baked on the same day with a wide variety and shapes. Fruit platters are available in all forms to ensure adequate intake of vitamin C by children.
