Gemdale Sports Charity Fund was initiated by Shenzhen Gemdale Sports Tennis Club Co., Ltd. which is a subsidiary of the Gemdale Group for the following purposes: support sports undertakings in poverty-stricken area, promote the development of tennis in China, help students in need, care for the society and give love to others.
It has been 11 years since the “Small Orange Lamp” Initiative was firstly organized by some employees serving for a subsidiary of Gemdale Group in the South China in 2009. A small orange lamp represents a social responsibility and spreads a public spirit. With the national strategic layout by Gemdale Group, “Gemdale Small Orange Lamp”, with its presence in 61 cities, has evolved into a nationwide charity brand, covering all cities in all regions, whereby employees, landlords, suppliers and other good-hearted people from all walks of life, help children from poor areas and families to realize their dreams by donating to schools, helping students in need, caring for left-behind children or otherwise.
