Established in March 2019, Gemdale (Xi’an) STEAM Kindergarten is affiliated with Shenzhen Gemdale Education Co., Ltd. Planned and built according to Class 1 standard of Shanxi Province, Gemdale (Xi’an) STEAM Kindergarten is a high-quality inclusive kindergarten approved by the Education Bureau. With 15 classes, more than 428 students, 65 faculties (including 32 teachers), a professional faculty team, a scientific curriculum system, a superior environment and first-class hardware configuration, Gemdale (Xi’an) STEAM Kindergarten is a paradise for personalized growth of children.
Located in Gemdale Xifeng Gongyuan Phase II on Xifeng 3rd Road, Yanta District, Xi’an, the kindergarten covering a total area of 3,900 m2, is equipped with an outdoor playground of 2,100 m2, providing a place for children to play sports and grow up in a healthy way. The kindergarten has 15 activity rooms, and functional classrooms (including an art room, a library, a science lab, and a multi-functional dance hall). Outside the kindergarten, there are modern facilities and equipment such as circular runway, basketball court, play pool, sand pond, planting area and large toys, creating spaces for situational exploration and growth.
We have a professional and excellent faculty team, with a total of 32 teachers (including 2 Chinese teachers and 2 foreign teacher), in addition to full-time STEAM teachers and P.E teachers. All teachers have a professional background in preschool education and rich experience, and hold professional qualifications such as Early Childhood Teacher Certification, Caregiver Certificate and Health Practitioner Certificate. With excellent professional skills, and the love and respect for each unique life, they give children the most professional, considerate care and motherly love.
The kindergarten is fully committed to building a kindergarten with scientific characteristics, and has set up four modules in the curriculum system, i.e., Integrated Curriculum in Five Major Areas, STEAM Science Curriculum, Feature Curriculum, and Parents Curriculum, which includes a wide range of courses such as English taught by Chinese and foreign teachers, gym course, martial arts, football, basketball, creative art, dance, Lego building, science and experiments, and parents course, to support the comprehensive growth of children aged 2-6 in all aspects.
Meals oriented are provided in a way to disseminate knowledge of rational nutrition and lead healthy and correct eating behaviors and habits. Nutritious meals with inviting color, aroma, taste and presentation perfectly matches the seasons according to the characteristics of the twenty-four solar terms, giving full consideration to the texture of meals, the matching of coarse and fine grains, the matching of dry and thin foods, and the matching of meat and vegetables. Three meals and two snacks per day are arranged with regional dietary characteristics to ensure that the children are provided with the necessary nutrition for their growth.
Fresh food is directly supplied by a professional food supply company. The fish and meat are de-spined and de-boned to ensure safe consumption by children. Food is mainly seasonal fruits and vegetables, with a variety of fruits to ensure adequate vitamin C intake for children. Bread and pastries are baked on the same day with a wide variety and shapes. No additives are used in the baking process to ensure safe intake. There are professional chefs and pastry chefs who carefully prepare all kinds of delicious food for children.
