Established in February 2019, Gemdale (Zhuhai) STEAM Kindergarten is affiliated with Shenzhen Gemdale Education Co., Ltd. Planned and built according to Class 1 standard of Shenzhen, Gemdale (Zhuhai) STEAM Kindergarten is offering different classes (such as international classes, experimental classes and childcare classes) for about 160 students, and has been awarded with “Safe Kindergarten of Doumen Zhuhai” and “Class A Canteen”. With a professional faculty team, a scientific curriculum system, a superior environment and first-class hardware configuration, Gemdale (Zhuhai) STEAM Kindergarten is a paradise for personalized growth of children.
Located in Doumen District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, Gemdale (Zhuhai) STEAM Kindergarten covering a total area of 4,257 m2, is equipped with an outdoor playground of 2,557 m2 and an outdoor arena of 1,700 m2, providing a place for children to play sports and grow up in a healthy way. This kindergarten has 9 classrooms, and 8 special function rooms, e.g. STEAM lab, cooking room, picture book library, music room, the display room of the four great inventions, art gallery, tea room, multi-functional hall. Outside the kindergarten, there are modern facilities and equipment such as play pool, fish pond, sand pond, small farm, slide and balance beam, creating scenario spaces for exploration and growth.
We have a professional and excellent faculty team, with 24 Chinese teachers and 1 foreign teacher, in addition to full-time STEAM teachers and P.E teachers. All teachers have a professional background in preschool education and rich experience, and hold professional qualifications such as Early Childhood Teacher Certification and Psychological Counselor Certificate (Level C). With the love and respect for each unique life, they give children the most professional, considerate care and motherly love.
The curriculum system consists of six modules: STEAM Curriculum, Parents Curriculum, Foundation Curriculum, Feature Curriculum, Finder Curriculum and Childcare Curriculum, including STEAM, science and experiments, English, speech and elocution, creative aesthetics, Orff music, gym, cooking, studies of Chinese ancient civilization, tea art, hands-on reading, dance, taekwondo, and a series of multiple intelligence courses, which support the comprehensive growth of children aged 1.5-6 in all aspects.
Meals oriented are provided in a way to disseminate knowledge of rational nutrition and lead healthy and correct eating behaviors and habits. Nutritious meals with inviting color, aroma, taste and presentation perfectly matches the seasons according to the characteristics of the twenty-four solar terms, giving full consideration to the texture of meals and the matching of coarse and fine grains.
Fresh food is directly supplied by Delmin Canteen, the supplier designated by the government of Doumen District of Zhuhai City. The fish and meat are de-spined and de-boned to ensure safe consumption by children. Fresh milk is supplied directly by manufactures, and fresh fruits are in season. Bread and pastries are baked on the same day with a wide variety and shapes. Fruit platters are available in all forms to ensure adequate intake of all nutrients by children.
